Anti-Narcotics Success by Jalpaiguri District Police

On 12th May 2026, acting on credible source information, Kotwali PS police team led by SI Binay Yadav conducted a successful operation at Netaji Para Bus Terminus, Jalpaiguri and apprehended one accused person involved in illegal trafficking of Brown Sugar (Heroin).

During search conducted in presence of an Executive Magistrate and independent witnesses, police seized:

102.55 grams suspected Brown Sugar (Heroin)

 One mobile phone

A specific case under the NDPS Act has been registered and investigation is underway.
